Miranda Franks promoted to tax senior manager

Jessica Eriksen promoted to audit senior

Norfolk, Va. - Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P.C. (WEC), a CPAmerica member firm, announces annual promotions of two employees, effective July 1, 2022. The firm is run by managing shareholder, Angela Kerns, CPA, HCCP.

Miranda Franks has been promoted to Tax Senior Manager. Franks joined WEC in 2018 with significant years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals and their closely held real estate businesses and clients in the government contracting space. She works with commercial and residential real estate partnerships, helping them with acquisition and disposition analyses and deal structuring.

Franks graduated from Penn State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Accounting. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing volleyball and fishing.

Jessica Eriksen has been promoted to Audit Senior. Eriksen joined WEC in 2019 as an intern and hired as a full-time staff in 2020. She enjoys working with operating companies and not-for-profit clients on annual audits.

She attended Old Dominion University where she majored in accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her husband and two German Shepard dogs.
